Japanese fansite, the FF&KH Blog has posted a rumor for us Final Fantasy XIII junkies. FF&KH are usually reliable, so here's what they posted in brief.

Apparently there is another PS Premiere coming up on the 21st (despited the last one being in July). A Final Fantasy XIII preview of a three person party in battle on some plains will be shown, if it's public or not is not specified. For Final Fantasy Versus XIII, the antagonist will be revealed, who had long gold and white hair, possibly the man seen in the white robe I would guess.

That's it for the rumor, it is pretty fishy to me because it sounds like some one has already seen the footage before the show. That and the last PS Premiere was 8 months ago or so.

As part of Famitsu's 1000th Issue Celebration Project, Square Enix Legend, Tetsuya Nomura was invited to draw the 1001th issue's cover. Nomura became the first game creator to draw the cover artwork for the magazine. Inside this issue, they also interviewed him and revealed some information regarding Lightning's character design in Final Fantasy XIII as well as some information about the Prince from Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

- While designing Final Fantasy VII, they were indecisive about how spiky to make Cloud's hair.
- Since people are more used to the beautiful CGs of FF characters, Nomura prefers his own artworks to not be shown out in the open too often and thinks that the Final Fantasy illustrations done by Yoshiyuki Amano are what people prefer to see.
- Normally draws with just a mechanical pencil, then scans and digitally colours his artworks.
- Buys games based on Famitsu reviews.

- Lightning from FF XIII: Has muscular legs, she isn't sweet, strict to herself and to others, and doesn't like whiners. She is quite like a military soldier.
- FFXIII scenario writer, Motomu Toriyama wanted her to be more muscular and macho, but Nomura thought people wouldn't be fond of her as a main character if he designed her that way.
- Aya (Aya Brea from PE3) is a bid more rounded than Lightning.

- Versus 13 heroes' clothes will probably be revised.
- Versus 13 main character is unlike Cloud nor Squall as people are expecting. Everyone's impression on him will greatly change once they hear him speak. Many people may not like him.
- His name will be related to weather just like Lightning, but personally Nomura has gotten bored of this naming tradition.
- The next time they reveal new Versus 13 info, they will reveal the main character's name.

- Agito characters are being called after their weapons between the development staff members, like how the boy with the cards is known as "Card-kun". The girl with glasses is being called "Class President" just because of her image, though.

Thanks to new staff member Hardedge for the find, we now have 3 new pictures from Famitsu magazine featuring shoots from Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Particularly cool is the blonde woman from Final Fantasy Versus XIII in action.

Now, I would say these are scans, but they were taken poorly with a digicam, so they're rightly that, pictures.

Still fantasizing about all that footage we haven't been able to see from those dang Closed Mega Theatre Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailers? Fret no more as this weeks issue of the Japanese magazine, V-Jump has got them, and we've got the scans (thanks FF7AC Reunion).

Some of the images are the same as the most resent magazine scan we reported on, except we finally have the Pigtails girl from Final Fantasy XIII, and the Shot Gun Guy and the Robed Man from Final Fantasy Versus XIII, along side the Blond Chick, Glasses Guy, Scar Eyed Guy, and the Biker from XIII.

Thought the 1080p MP4 trailers we made were good? Well, we've got news for you! We went back to the roots and enhanced and converted the original files to present to you, the new Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII from the CLOUD DVD, in Divx, in 1080p.

The colour is much better, and the video is smoother than our last 1080p trailers, and of course, these will now play on your PS3! These will more than likely play on your computer as most of us all have Dixv on our computers, but if you don't make sure to grab it, it's 100% trustworthy.

Unlike last time, these files are hosted off site from the get go, so we shouldn't have any slowing of the site due to people downing the about 100MB files.

Feel free to spread the files far and wide, we don't really care, they're here for watching.

We'll see what we can do about getting them on more file sharing servers. We won't be providing any torrents though, but feel free to make your own.
